Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz as a child. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young as the age of 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Over the years Alexandra has worked in several noteworthy national and international projects. They include the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. She was also an official juror for the Transylvania International Film Festival as in the Cannes Film Festival.
